Friday

First off we went into Laie for a Branch meeting.  We hit High school traffic in Kahuku and were slowed down a bit, but got to our meeting on time.  These Elders and Sisters are so fun.  Every teaching moment seems to evolve around playing games and learning from them.  We played several games involving giant marshmallows.  One was choosing a person to blindfold and then one member of the team tries to lead this person through a maze to find a marshmallow on a chair, while the other team members shout at her to go other directions.  Get it?  There were two teams and it was noisy and fun.  Another game was to throw marshmallows into a basket on top of a persons head, BTW they kept bouncing out of the basket!

We finished our meeting and then went over to a shop at the end of the PCC for me to get a haircut.  We had to wait a bit as they weren't there but the beautician was a cute girl who was finishing up her studies at BYUH.  I got a great haircut, which to me means a lot.  Usually I have to try many people to get someone that I like.

We then came home and prepared to have Ramon's cousin Leilani and her husband come over to dinner.  They came and we had a great night visiting and laughing with them. They live here and it's nice to have some family close by.
