Saturday September 15, 2018

We woke up early, did our prayers, and companion study and then went over to Kahuku High School to participate in the Aloha Week clean up there.  No one was there,  the field was all locked up tight.  Then we drove over to Laie to check the walking path along the way that some wards were to clean, no one there.  We drove back to the stadium and saw a few people, students only milling around doing nothing.  We parked took a picture and found out there had been no game the night before so hardly any cleanup needed.  Went back home and watched BYU win their game! Then went to Shark's Cove and found a really neat place to snorkel that we had missed in the past.  I also went over to the calm little pool I had found earlier, and exercised.  Came home, made lemon chicken and was done for the day.  Got a text (yeah! Thank you Michele!) saying church for YSA was cancelled and to find another ward to attend.  I said "Yeah" because someone remembered to tell us, not that church was cancelled.  So we'll have 5 hours of church tomorrow instead of 9, slow Sunday.  We're fasting for the fires in Utah...and praying they get them under control.
